Norton takes command

Norton leads the girls varsity game 24-15 at halftime. Ellis was up 9-8 at the end of the 1st quarter, but the Bluejays scored the first six points of the second and has had control since. The nine-point cushion is the largest of the game so far.

The boys junior varsity game went to overtime, so the girls varsity tipped 10 minutes later than scheduled.

It is a little unusual to be covering basketball on a Thursday night, but at least I get to see a game. I can’t go tomorrow night, obviously, because I’ll be busy with wrestling.

The Lady Railers are back on the court to warm up for the second half. I’ll take that as a hint
