Foots-a-thon, day five

I didn’t return to Buffalo Wild Wings at 11 a.m. today as I promised Lisa, but maybe it wasn’t the worst thing I could not get there at opening. When I arrived just before 2, she told me she had been swamped all throughout her shift, espeically out on the patio. It’s 81 degrees right now, and people are enjoying the nice weather. Tomorrow, it will be 20 to 25 degrees cooler, which is not too much below normal for mid-March.

I got some writing done before I left the room a little after 1. I have some pictures to pick out when I get back to the Marriott tonight, but with the writing out of the way, it shouldn’t be that hard. I should be able to get back to Zona Rosa by 11 tomorrow. St. Patrick’s Day. I already have my green shirt picked out.

Raymie is here today as well, which made my day. I will get to see Tori behind the bar tonight, and a few others I’m used to on Monday nights. It will be my first time playing Buzztime’s The Pulse since Feb. 9 in Salina, and my first time in KC since Jan. 26.

There are no college basketball games on TV tonight. The NCAA women’s selection show is at 6 on ESPN. Does it really matter? We all know what the outcome will be barring something drastic: another championship for Connecticut and Geno Auriemma.

About David

Louisiana native living in Kansas. New Orleans born, LSU graduate. I have Asperger’s Syndrome, one toe less than most humans, addictions to The Brady Bunch, Lifetime movies, Bluey, most sports, food and trivia. Big fan of Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, New Orleans Saints, Montreal Canadiens. Was a big fan of Quebec Nordiques until they moved to Denver. My only celebrity crush is NFL official Sarah Thomas. I strongly dislike LSU fans who think Alabama is its biggest rival, warm weather, steaks cooked more than rare, hot dogs with ketchup, restaurants without online ordering, ranch dressing, Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Alex Ovechkin, Barry Bonds, Putin, his lover in Belarus, North Korean dictators, Venezuelan dictators, all NHL teams in the south (especially the Lightning and Panthers), Brooklyn Nets and Major League Soccer.
