This is a rare on-location blog from Buffalo Wild Wings, and this time, I have a power outlet under my seat so I can stick with it. I’m playng Buzztime’s SIX while also following two NFL exhibition games, Bengals at Chiefs and 49ers at Ravens. I’m once again sitting on the bar side of the restaurant, since Lisa is waiting on me once again. I’m glad to see she will have five days off after tonight, meaning when I come back tomorrow, I’m back at my normal table, and I’m guessing Liz is back, too.
NFL exhibition games are nothing more than scrimmages at full speed in front of fans. The fans are forced to pay though the nose for tickets as if they were regular season games, when for the most part, the starters are out of there before halftime. The starters usually play the most in the third exhibition game (fourth for the teams in the Hall of Fame game).
I have not been too concerned with the football games. The Chiefs and Bengals are tied 17-17 in the second quarter, and the Ravens lead the 49ers 13-3 in the third. I was much more concerned with my trivia game, where I scored 47,000, which is about my average for SIX. I’m currently playing Topix, which tonight is about meterology. After stumbling out the gate, I’ve nailed the last eight questions.
